This is the only full Fightcade2 romset as of 7/1/2021. Every rom works except a few weird hacks totaling 10 or so games. Mame games are in the "ROMS" zip file and all the others are in the "emulator" zip file. It is meant to follow the structure of fightcade while still being accessible.
Every Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Master System, Naomi, Atomiswave, Colecovision, Game Gear, MSX, NES, Famicom Disk System, PC Engine, SG-10000, Supergrafx, ZX Spectrum and Turbografx-16 rom is represented here and a large percentage have been renamed so Fightcade2 can locate them.
I must stress that no other romset will work correctly in Fightcade2, and also this set will not work with anything else.
Some games require support folders, parent roms, bios and similar things in order to run. They are all provided and in place, however if you intend to get individual files you will need to know what must be downloaded to make them work. In general if a file shares a name with another file it will include the roms from both, and possibly others. "Strider.zip" for example contains the NES, ZX Spectrum and Arcade versions of that game. There truly is no other way to make the filesystem work.
Killer Instinct 1 and 2 require support folders.
Naomi games sometimes require chd folders and a Naomi bios which is located in the Flycast "data" folder.
Atomiswave games require the AWBIOS which is also in the Flycast "data" folder.
"ggpofb.zip" : This is an archive of Fightcade 1 compatible games
"flycast.zip" : This is an archive of all Flycast compatible games Fightcade 2 supports.
"snes9x" : This is an archive of all the SNES / Super Famicom games Fightcade 2 supports.
"fbneo.zip" : Everything else Fightcade 2 supports. Arcade games and several consoles including NES, Megadrive, etc.
To install these, locate the "emulator" folder and unzip the archives to there with the folder structure intact.

Yikes.
A minor step in the right direction but so far ONLY MVC2 and melty blood has worked. Following the instructions and making sure everything is in the right folder does not seem to resolve the issue, and re-downloading didn't seem to help either....It's hard enough to get a romset and putting stupid crap like "THIS IS THE **ONLY** WORKING ROMSET" as if no other roms would ever work if installed properly (they would, and I actually now NEED those other roms because this one is FULL of bad rips.)....
TBH kinda thinking the other reviews are suspect now because they're all 5's in a batch of roms that simply do not work....

Mostly 100% (for fighting games/beat 'em ups)
So I've done a fair bit of testing and so far, only RedEarth for FightCade 1 (FC1) and Samurai Shodown 3 (FC1) don't work.
Samurai Shodown 3 is missing some files, and RedEarth produces this weird "Guru Meditation" error.
Overall though, the rest of the fighting game collection seems to be just fine.
